Old Metaire homes are a blend of the origional homes like this one that was built in the early 1950’s and newer homes. The land values are so great that sometimes the house is worth nothing, its all in the land. One great thing is that many of these cottages have been restored and are prized in this market. One of the first suburbs outside of the city has today become a prime location for those wanting a blend of the city and the country feel.
