Great way to decorate for Mardi Gras in New Orleans. The throws which are the beads are becoming used for more and more decorations. Great way to show of your spirit and the unusual way to express yourself. The Uptown New Orleans home is unique and picturesque in itself. The beads are what caught my eye. Everyone enjoys them and they stay untouched for others to enjoy.

This is an interesting home in Uptown New Orleans so I took the photo and did a little research. Most of the homes with this Victorian style in Uptown New Orleans date from 1870 to 1905. Atttention to detail was a trade mark for New Orleans in this time period. The wealthy wanted to show off their homes as this was a way to say I have made it.
